Welcome to Towson ... (back)

We are very proud that Towson has its weekly newspaper “The Towson Times” as well as “The Jeffersonian” which reports on a county wide basis but puts special emphasis on our County Seat and the daily operations of our local government. The Towson University “Tower Light”, which is published twice a week is also a source for news, sports and local events. For your listening enjoyment, the University operates its own radio station, WTMD, 89.7 FM, which broadcasts, sporting events, concerts and a blend of popular and recurrent music.
 
The Baltimore Sun also serves the Towson area with a daily publication and many of our residents and businesses subscribe to the nearby Washington Post and Washington Times
